Welcome to the website for Agape Community Center,

a leading non-profit organization serving the northwest side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Agape Community Center has been a beacon of hope, determination, support and success for thousands of area residents since 1986.  As a community center, Agape has the unique advantage of welcoming youth, adults, families and seniors into its facility through a broad range of educational, social, recreational, cultural, health and life-long learning opportunities.  View Agape's Annual Report for a snapshot of the organization in 2012.

Agape Community Center has been active in community and neighborhood development for the past seven years.  

Strong families and strong neighborhoods go hand-in-hand.  Each depends on trust, support, stability, and a sense of connection.  Agape Community Center is committed to making Milwaukee's Northwest Side a place with vibrant neighborhoods where people want to live.

 

Agape is now enrolling children ages 7-12 and teens ages 13-16  for After School Programming.  ASP follows the Milwaukee Public School Traditional Calendar for the 2013-2014 school year from 2:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. For more information please call 414-464-4440.

TIN Informational Sessions

Monday February 9th

Where: Agape Community Center

When: 6:00pm-7:30pm

If you live in the Old North Neighborhood between 35th St. to 40th St. from Silver Spring Dr. to Rohr Ave come out to an information session about home improvement loans. The Home Rehabilitation-TIN Loan Program offers forgivable, low-interest, and deferred payment rehab loans of up to $15,000 to income-qualified owner-occupants within the target area. Interest rates and terms are tied to income and
family size. There is also a loan available for landlords within the target area.
