The OneMinistry Biomed Team is composed of all local Biomedical Electronic shops within Ministry Health Care. Our employees are responsible for installing, training, calibrating, repairing and performing routine maintenance on biomedical equipment. We service equipment such as defibrillator machines, ventilators, surgical equipment, and Radiology equipment such as PET/CT Scanners and X-ray machines. This department is rewarding because you become the hero when equipment operation is vital to a patient’s care!
Finance & Accounting:
Our Shared Service Organization (SSO) for Finance and Accounting is divided among three areas; Decision Support, Financial Accounting and Financial Planning. The Decision Support Team works to implement strategic decisions related to benchmarking, productivity and cost accounting. The Financial Accounting Team works to standardize the financial statement preparation and general ledger system and coordinate the annual audit. The Financial Planning Team improves financial knowledge throughout the organization by standardizing best practices and providing analytical support to manage profitability, productivity, and operating and capital expenditures.
Ministry Health Care offers a Shared Service structure within our Human Resources function. While physically we are set up in a very decentralized fashion with HR professionals of all levels scattered at multiple facilities throughout our system, we operationally are a highly aligned unit. Focus on efficiencies is a high priority of MHC HR, which you will notice by our ever present process-improvement teams. We even dedicate two part time Black Belts who offer Lean expertise to our team. Functions of Ministry’s HR department include Recruiting, Benefits, Employee Relations, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, and more. Our Human Resources Department’s mission is to attract and retain an engaged workforce through customer-focused, strategic partnerships. We interface with every single operating unit across our enterprise to drive forward strategic initiatives surrounding patient care.
Ministry Health Care’s Supply Chain department is a relatively new organization. Restructured in 2008 to eliminate duplicated efforts and increase departmental efficiency, this unit is a fast-paced high-energy team that contributes to all aspects of sourcing, procuring, analyzing, and distributing inventory, capital equipment, and services across the Ministry Health Care enterprise. Their mission is to support Hospital and Clinic operations in their quest to improve patient care by reducing risk of supply and lowering total costs. In this area you’ll find everything from Buyers to Inventory Coordinators to Strategic Sourcing Leaders. Focused on implementing global Supply Chain best practices, we welcome the experience of candidates from across industries and pride ourselves on targeting top talent to constantly raise the bar in our performance.
