Matthew Luders Joins Ministry Door County Medical Center
Ministry Door County Medical Center (MDCMC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Luders as Account Executive for the organization. Luders most recently was the Senior Executive Director of the Northern Door YMCA program center in Fish Creek.
“Matt brings an extensive knowledge of health and wellness initiatives, as well as ten years of sales experience to this new role,” according to Kevin Grohskopf, MDCMC Director of Marketing & Public Relations. “He is a great addition to our team and will help us further our mission of creating healthier communities throughout Door County.”
Originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, Luders will develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with community organizations and industry as the primary business development contact for MDCMC’s customers (e.g. employers, school districts, community organizations). He will also serve as the liaison to the YMCA of Door County – one of MDCMC’s most important and valued partners in health and wellness.
Although he and his family live in Sturgeon Bay, Luders has built collaborative relationships with many Northern Door County municipalities and businesses, including the villages of Egg Harbor and Sister Bay, and Gibraltar Schools. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership Door County, Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry, Door County Soccer Association, Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church and is a charter board member of the Northern Door Rotary Club.
“We have been happy to call Sturgeon Bay our home for the last 11 years when Regan and I moved here so that she could start practicing dentistry at Door County Dental Care,” says Luders. “We have two children, Ben who is 8 and Hayden who is 5. Even though we are both from Iowa and are HUGE Iowa Hawkeye fans, we are loyal Packer fans as well and love watching football! As a family we love to go to the beach, go for hikes at all of our beautiful state parks, participate in all the local running events and be as active as possible either snowshoeing, biking, or just taking a walk with our two Labrador retrievers, Billy and Eddie.”
Luders has Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and has been in his new role at MDCMC since July 16.
