Continuing Our Legacy of Quality Care
Ministry Door County Medical Center is driven by the strong relationship we have forged within the community. We believe that we must have a positive impact on improving the legacy of quality care that has been built over the past six decades. That means we must continue to work diligently to update and replace aging facilities that were built in 1963.
Since 2001, Ministry Door County Medical Center has committed over $40.0 million to the construction of the Surgical Services Addition, Door County Cancer Center, Women’s and Children’s Center and added permanent MRI services.
This summer, we came full circle and completed the largest and most costly of the replacement projects, the Inpatient Services and Emergency Department Addition.
The community has played a big part in elevating the level of quality of our facilities to the top of our industry. Over the past ten years, the community has generously given over $11.0 million to help cover the cost of construction. We thank you for this support and want to impress upon you that we still need your help.
This brochure reviews the monumental, necessary and very costly facility improvements that have been made since the beginning of the new millennium. When you have finished reading the brochure, I respectfully ask that you please consider making a gift or a pledge to this very worthy cause. Your support in this time of need will help to ensure that Ministry Door County Medical Center will continue to provide comprehensive and quality health care long into the future.
I wish you a rewarding and blessed upcoming year and thank you for sharing the vision of quality care close to home.
