Denise O’Leary and Kent Thiry
3854 Sand Bay Point Road – Sturgeon Bay (Little Sturgeon Bay area)

This 5,000 sq. ft. beach house located in Southern Door is on the isthmus of Sand Bay and Riley’s Bay. It was designed as a “mountain home” that would become a unique “beach house”. The 10 ft. high patio doors facing Sand Bay create a window wall that brings in the outdoor bay setting. A ‘dry stack’ stone layered technique of blue & gray Wisconsin stone is featured on two fireplaces and outside stonework. Five bathrooms and an elaborate kitchen display tile and granite from around the world. The kitchen window wall opens to a screen porch counter. Two upper decks with flagstone floors overlook both Riley’s Bay and Sand Bay.

Mary & Ron Greisen
1028 S. 19th Place – Sturgeon Bay

This home is a wonderful 4,300 sq. ft. space for family gatherings and entertaining friends. The trophy room boasts a display of high school, college, and NFL memorabilia from the two sons. There is even an original Green Bay Packer contract [Mary’s father’s] signed by Curly Lambeau. The award winning backyard gardens and koi pond can be enjoyed from inside the home via spacious windows in the sunroom, living room, and master bedroom. This home provides a relaxing “outdoor living room” that has become a favorite for neighborhood gatherings.

Peggy & Tom Phillips
4712 Bark Road – Sturgeon Bay (Whitefish Bay area)

Situated on 130 feet of Lake Michigan beachfront on Whitefish Bay, the spacious 4,400 sq. ft. open floor plan affords spectacular views of the lake from every room in the house. The centerpiece of the first floor is the large fireplace constructed in 2013 of Door County fieldstone with a native cedar timber mantel. The home is conducive to large family gatherings and entertaining with 8 bathrooms, 11 rooms and a large kitchen island. Located on the “quiet side” of the peninsula, this home provides the family with a beautiful get away that promotes a sense of calm, peace and serenity. The most striking feature of the property is the expansive view of the white sand beach of Whitefish Bay.

Mary & Bob Carlisle
5979 Bay Shore Drive – Sturgeon Bay (Egg Harbor area)

Wander through the woods to a clearing to view this large, stately stone structure of three levels, with 7,000 sq. ft. and 14 rooms that was built in the early 1900’s. It was hand crafted over a period of 15 years to its completion. The stone was moved by barge from the quarry south of Little Harbor and hauled up the hill for construction. This truly unique property boasts over 15 acres on 700 feet of frontage on the Bay side of the peninsula. The gardens continue to evolve as the homeowners spend more time here enjoying the renovated abode that has gone from a family home to a campground and now back to a restored family home and beach house. It is a structure with historical significance in Door County.
