1. Robert Carroll

742 N. Jefferson St. - Sturgeon Bay

This restored single family Victorian home built in the late 1890’s and 2200+ square feet was once a popular retail space. The hand painted living room is adorned with a mural of the city-by artist Rob Soukup. Woodwork throughout the home is original to the structure with furnishings reminiscent of the era. Designed by Yardworks, the garden and outdoor entertainment area are shielded from the street as a private entertainment space for family and friends. The steel sculptures in the yard were created by Nathan Hatch and Bob Anderson. A vintage, restored 1948 Bentley is also proudly displayed.

2. Maribeth & Scott Hetherington

6170 S. Shoreside Cir. - Sturgeon Bay

This open concept 4800 square foot home features an eclectic mix of colorful coastal style decorating and contemporary accents. It reflects the owners’ love of the water and Door County with lighting accents and artwork from many Door County artists. Architectural details include built-in cabinetry, large arched windows, a classic sliding barn door, beveled glass french doors, and a bright cheerful sun room that opens to an upper level deck.  The lower level addition includes a “summer kitchen” with granite counters and a unique contemporary glass and tile backsplash with faceted mirror accents.  Large multi-level perennial gardens with massive quarry stone landscape walls surround the home and were established when the home was built.  The gardens were all replanted and enhanced in 2014. The gardens include the “Hexa Harlequin” Sturgeon from the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center’s Auction.

3. Kathy & Roger Nulton

6431 Bay Shore Dr. - Egg Harbor

This self-designed Log Cabin style home is 3500 square feet with 12 rooms. Having lived in Northern California wine country for a dozen years, the owners became avid wine lovers and collectors, and this is reflected throughout the home and in its name....CharDoorNay! Hand hewn log siding and crisp green trim greet guests from the outside, but it’s the clear pine walls and 28 foot ceilings in the foyer and great room that make a dramatic yet cozy interior. The Nulton Family Crest is embossed in the wide plank cherry floors just inside the double front doors, and a 2 story Door County fieldstone fireplace graces the Great Room. Nearby a Chef’s kitchen includes state of the art appliances with rustic breadboard cabinetry and Cambria countertops. The specially designed floating staircase and catwalk lead to bedrooms for each of the adult children, plus a bonus room for their future grandchildren. Locally sourced furniture and artwork adorn the home, much of it collected over the past 30 years of Door County vacation memories. Windows and a deck run the length of the home, providing beautiful views of Green Bay and ample outdoor entertaining space to enjoy friends, family, and a superb glass of wine.... Minimal landscaping is intentional to preserve and enhance the natural beauty and highlight the views of Green Bay.

4. Mary Ann & Gary Guterman - GARDEN ONLY

10376 N. Coral Hill Rd. - Ephraim

The lush garden that cascades from the home is complimented with abundant, flowering pots artistically placed throughout the landscape. The perennial plantings and art have evolved over the past decades and create an award winning display of native and exotic species. The owners, who own the Mission Grill restaurant, can enjoy the view from their spacious deck that overlooks the colorful display. Patrons will see Japanese sculptures and influences, a rock garden, water features that include a koi pond and water falls, a bridge created by a local artisan, rock walls, paths and benches that are all placed to enjoy the space throughout the season. Walk up the drive and wander through the displays or sit quietly and listen to the sounds of nature to make the most of your visit.

5. Danielle & Lou Covotsos*

1279 Garrett Bluff Ct. - Ellison Bay

The walk to see this home is well worth it! This log home is approximately 4000 square feet and was completed in 2008. It is traditional log construction with half logs on both the interior and exterior surfaces. A variety of stone surfaces complement the wood finishes throughout the home. Artwork and furnishings featured in every room of this home have been created by many Door County artists, including the owners. This home is a wonderful space for family gatherings including a wing that is fully accessible for their wheelchair-bound son.  The gazebo completed in 2013 is a centerpiece for the gardens and displays a stained glass work that was designed and completed by the owner.  Visiting this northern door home is worth the effort.

*Covotsos Home: location has some parking challenges and may require some walking to view but is well worth it. Buses will be allowed to drop people off and will park at a separate location.
