The Howard Young Health Care system has a long history of receiving philanthropic support from our communities for the area’s health care. The Howard Young Foundation is a charitable not-for-profit health care organization, established in 1985 to actively build and sustain philanthropic support for the health and wellness initiatives in the communities served. The Foundation encourages and promotes efforts that advance community wellness and improve the skills of our many health care professionals. In addition, funding is provided for health related services and programs for Howard Young Medical Center and Eagle River Memorial Hospital, making a positive and long lasting impact on the Northwoods area.
