Laura Magstadt, RN, MSN, Senior Director, Patient Care Services of Ministry Howard Young Health Care (HYHC) has been selected to serve a third term on the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) National Professional Practice Committee, beginning January 2011.
“Through her dedication and hard work, being selected to serve a third term on the National Professional Practice Committee exemplifies Laura’s commitment to her patients, her profession, Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital and Howard Young Medical Center,” said Sheila Clough, President, Ministry Howard Young Health Care.
As part of the AONE National Professional Practice Committee, Magstadt will help to monitor and make recommendations to the AONE Board in response to professional practice issues and documents that require AONE action.
Magstadt has been a leader with HYHC for the past four years and is currently serving as the Senior Director of Patient Care Services. Her career includes two years as Medical ICU Manager at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland and six years in Critical Care at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI. She earned her BSN at Edgewood College in Madison and MSN from the University of Phoenix.
