Learn more about important heart health topics and have the opportunity to have your questions about heart disease answered by experienced medical professionals. These Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care heart care team seminars are free and open to the public.

Healthy Hearts Group

Second Monday of every month, September through May, 6 to 7 p.m.

Healthy Hearts is for people who have had a heart attack, heart surgery or other heart problems as well as their families and loved ones. Any community members interested in a healthy lifestyle can join, too.

Meetings provide participants an opportunity to ask questions or express concerns regarding heart-related issues. Issues include, but are not limited to: risk factors for heart disease (such as diet, exercise or cholesterol), medication, current research and new heart-related procedures. Most meetings feature a special expert presenter. Past presenters have included physicians, dieticians, pharmacists, nurses and exercise specialists. Topic suggestions are always welcome.
