Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome Navid Majid, MD and Rafiullah, MD who recently joined the Hospitalist Departments of Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston and Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center in Merrill.
Hospitalists are internal medicine physicians who specialize in caring for patients who have been hospitalized. In many areas of the country, personal physicians are referring their patients to a Hospitalist when their patients are sick enough that they can no longer be cared for in the outpatient setting.
Majid earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College, Karachi Pakistan and recently completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Bronx Program in New York.
"I am excited to join Ministry Health Care at this beautiful location in central Wisconsin," said Majid. "I was actively looking for a position in the Midwest in a patient first environment to deliver the best care possible to my patients."
Majid comes to central Wisconsin with his wife Samrin and infant son Eshahn. He enjoys soccer, traveling and watching movies in his spare time.
Rafiullah also recently completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine after earning his medical degree at Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan.
"My philosophy is to treat each patient as if they were a member of my own family," said Rafiullah. "I am excited to begin the next chapter of my professional career in this wonderful community."
Rafiullah is joined by his wife Wardah and four-year old daughter Ayesha. He enjoys traveling and badminton.
