Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome Dionna Pendleton, M.D., as the second physician to its Ministry Medical Group primary care clinic in Merrill.
Dr. Pendleton specializes in family medicine with special interest in women’s health including pediatrics as well as chronic disease management for people of all ages.
“My goal is to care for the patient as if they were a part of my own family, not just treat the disease,” said Dr. Pendleton. “I believe in strong communication with my patients which allows the opportunity to fully explain their medical care and treatment, and take time to answer any questions they may have.”
After completing her bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, Illinois, Dr. Pendleton earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis. She recently completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at Rush-Copley Medical Center, Aurora, Illinois; where she served as chief resident. Board certified in Family Medicine, she is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Association.
Dr. Pendleton enjoys spending time with her daughter and family often at zoos, museums, plays or swimming, bowling and watching professional sporting events. She also enjoys playing volleyball and softball.
