Is your family ready for flu season?
A flu shot may keep you healthy from the influenza virus.
The flu virus is very contagious. It spreads through coughing, sneezing and other close contact. It’s a respiratory virus that causes fever, chills, a dry cough, muscle aches and fatigue. In some people, the flu will progress to pneumonia and bronchitis, which can be life threatening.
Two great reasons to get a flu shot:
1) To protect yourself from the flu
2) To help your community reduce the number of flu cases
