WOODRUFF, WI—The community is invited to make massage therapy appointments through the Ministry Rehabilitation Department at Howard Young Medical Center.
According to the 2007 American Massage Therapy Association Consumer Survey, almost a quarter of all adult Americans (24 percent) had a massage at least once in the last 12 months and 34 percent of adult Americans received a massage in the last five years.
Massage therapy benefits include relaxation of muscle tissue, improved range of motion, reduced heart rate, lower blood pressure, reduced pain, and increased blood and lymphatic circulation.
Appointments are available by calling the Ministry Rehabilitation Department at 715-356-8870.
