Howard Young Foundation Receives $25,000 from Hospital Volunteers
(Eagle River, WI) – The Partners of Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital Auxiliary recently donated $25,000 to the Howard Young Foundation. The donation will benefit health related services at Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital.
The Auxiliary raises money throughout the year through sales at the Hospital Gift Shop, and the Auxiliary Thrift Shop which is located at 209 East Pine Street in Eagle River.
Recent Auxiliary donations have helped purchase a state-of-the-art ambulance for Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital which is equipped with LIFENET, the latest critical care technology. LIFENET was purchased separately, thanks to a generous donation from the Partners of Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
“We are extremely grateful to be able to provide this gift to the Howard Young Foundation,” said Diana Sell, president-elect for the Partners of Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. “Our volunteers donate countless hours at the Hospital Gift Shop and in our Thrift Shop to help support the purchase of new medical equipment for our community.”
“This generous gift to the Foundation was made possible thanks to the dedication of the Auxiliary and their loyal customers,” added John Lund, president, Howard Young Foundation, Inc. “The Eagle River community has benefited from Auxiliary donations which helped fund capital needs for medical equipment and hospital infrastructure.”
