(Woodruff, WI) Howard Young Health Care (HYHC) is pleased to announce Rebecca Morin, has joined the HYHC Administrative Team as the new Vice President of Patient Care. Morin's responsibilities include all nursing and ancillary services (Pastoral Care, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology and Rehabilitation) for Howard Young Medical Center and Eagle River Memorial Hospital.

She views her move to northern Wisconsin as an opportunity to return to a small community and environment similar to where she grew up. We anticipate Rebecca will quickly become an integral part of our community and our health care system."
Morin holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors degree in both Nursing and Human Services. She began her career in her home state of New Hampshire working in various nursing supervisory roles in the Optima Health System. In 1999, she moved to Tennessee and served for several years in an executive role as the Director of Quillen Rehabilitation Hospital; part of Mountain States Health Alliance. In 2004, she transitioned to the Wellmont Health System (a thirteen-hospital system in northeast Tennessee, southwest Virginia and southeast Kentucky) and served in various executive roles including Associate Vice President of Nursing, Interim Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Professional Development, Clinical Research.Throughout Morin's career, she has been an active member and leader in various professional organizations at the state and federal level.
Morin's personal interests include hiking, biking, skiing, and other outdoor activities. She has been very active in the previous communities through various civic organizations.
