WOODRUFF, WI – Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care recently teamed together and contributed $500 to benefit the Minocqua Lions Club annual fundraising efforts.
With over 90 members, the Minocqua Lions Club consists of Lakeland area businessmen, professionals, retirees, veterans and hardworking-caring individuals. Their mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
The joint contribution from Ministry Health Care and Marshfield Clinic will support the Minocqua Lions Club’s mission to give back the Lakeland community.
“We are proud to support the Minocqua Lions Club and their mission to serve the needs of those less fortunate in our community,” said Ministry Howard Young Health Care President Sheila Clough. “They truly are an inspiration and we appreciate their dedication to the Lakeland area.”
“We make a real effort to direct our contributions to those organizations that truly make a difference in our communities,” said Rick Clark, Administrator, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center. “The Lions Club certainly fits that description so we are happy to support them.”
This is another example of a community collaboration between Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care. Both organizations encourage efforts to improve the health and well-being of the people who live in or visit our area.
“We are grateful for the continued support from our health care partners in the Lakeland community, Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care” said David Flasch, president, Minocqua Lions Club. “Their generous donation will benefit area organizations in need.”
The Minocqua Lions Club motto “To Serve” would not be complete without the funding they’re able to donate to help the many Lakeland area organizations and Lakeland residents in need.
