Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care recently teamed together and contributed $1,500 to support two upcoming events at Minocqua Winter Park, the Wolf Tracks Rendezvous and the 2012 Lakeland Loppet Nordic Ski Race.
The inaugural Wolf Tracks Rendezvous, which will take place on Saturday, February 4, at Minocqua Winter Park, is a 42k Nordic ski marathon. The Lakeland Loppet, now in its 37th year, will be held on Saturday, March 3rd and is one ofWisconsin’s longest running ski races. The event draws skiers from locations throughout theMidwest.
The joint contribution from Ministry Health Care and Marshfield Clinic will support family-orientated races for skiers of all ages, and maintenance of Minocqua Winter Park’s trails and equipment.
“We are dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles and this contribution helps support physical activity during the winter months,” said Sheila Clough, President, Ministry Howard Young Health Care. “Cross country skiing atWinter Parkallows our community members and tourists to remain active and improve their overall health and well-being.”

This is another example of a community collaboration between Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care. Both organizations support efforts to improve the health and well-being of the people who live in or visit our area.

Minocqua Winter Park is a not-for-profit town park operated by the Lakeland Ski Touring Foundation that provides quality silent sport experience for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages through the protection and maintenance of their trail system.
