Clinician Opportunities

Ministry Health Care is an integrated network of 15 hospitals and 46 clinics serving patients throughout Central, Northern and Eastern Wisconsin. Together, with more than 700 employed clinicians, we have dedicated ourselves to delivering high-quality, cost-effective, person-centered care for the past 100 years. We are working every day to best meet the needs of the patients and communities we serve. If you share our commitment to quality care and exceptional patient service, we look forward to talking with you.

Quality of Life

At Ministry, we want our clinicians to be happy and healthy, too. You’ll enjoy a rewarding medical practice and still have time for the other things you love to do.

Wisconsin is home to friendly, safe and affordable communities and is fortunate to have cost-of-living expenses well below the national average. Here, you’ll find plenty of Midwestern hospitality partnered with a unique combination of small-town charm and urban amenities.

Many of our clinicians have commented that their decision to join Ministry has positively impacted their lives in many ways such as a less stressful work commute; more time with family and friends; and enjoying events and creating connections within their community.

Autonomy of Practice

Physicians tell us frequently how they value time with their patients, getting to know them and their families in a meaningful way. Ministry provides you with the resources and support so you can build a solid practice alongside more than 700 clinician colleagues.

We hope you will stretch to fulfill your potential in a structured practice environment that encourages new ways of thinking, while shaping the patient care experience of tomorrow.

We offer our clinicians a competitive, comprehensive compensation and benefit package. You’ll enjoy the financial stability that comes with being part of the nation’s largest non-profit health system. Wisconsin’s non-litigious environment makes it an ideal place to practice medicine.

Physician Led

Ministry is a physician-led, professionally-managed system with numerous opportunities for influence and professional growth.

Our dyad leadership model pairs a regional physician vice president with a regional administrator overseeing operations. Regional vice presidents often continue to see patients in clinical practice on a part-time basis.

The leadership model also includes physicians serving in primary and specialty care medical director roles where they partner with operations leaders to manage and grow segments of the business. In these collaborative roles, medical directors divide their time between clinical practice and administrative functions and are supported by clinic managers/directors.

Three affinity groups — 1) primary care, 2) specialties and 3) hospital-based services— provide additional opportunity for your involvement and input.
