Ministry Medical Group in northern Wisconsin is seeking a BC/BE Family or Internal Medicine physician to serve as the Nursing Home Medical Director and attending physician to residents at various nursing homes (approx. 6-7) located throughout northern Wisconsin. We are seeking a candidate interested and committed to providing specialized care for our geriatric population.
•Coordinates medical care within the facilities and provides clinical guidance and oversight of the resident’s care
•Collaborates with the facility leaders, staff and other practitioners to help develop, implement and evaluate resident care policies and procedures
•Diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and overall health care for geriatric population
•Will work closely with patients, their families and facility staff members to develop care and treatment plans
•Commonly seen: arthritis, heart and lung disease, depression, memory loss, incontinence, mobility issues, Alzheimer’s and osteoporosis
