Hand-drawn landscapes are framed around the house, personal illustrations line the walls of the nursery, and a woman sits at a table meticulously working on yet another art project. Her name is Jodi and she recently gave birth to twin girls.
At 38 weeks pregnant Jodi made her way to Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point to be induced. She soon began having contractions and at 7am Jodi’s water broke. At 1:30pm Jodi naturally delivered twin girls, Piper and Sadie.
With a whole team behind her, Jodi’s delivery went as smooth as possible. Jodi was especially grateful to the lactation consultant, Lora, for her help and guidance in feeding the twins. Jodi spent three days in the hospital and couldn’t be happier with the care she was given from the nurses and staff. While the babies were in the nursery Jodi was able to get some rest and was even given a massage.
Today Jodi spends her free time working on new art. She loves making beautiful gifts for friends and family and will always treasure the most beautiful gifts she’s been given, thanks to the helpful staff at Ministry.
