Support groups give you a great opportunity to discuss personal or professional issues that arise from surgery. Many patients say it's helpful to speak with others who are going through the same thing or have had a similar experience in the past.

They allow you to surround yourself with people who understand and support your goals, directly increasing your chances of long-term success.
