Todd Kuhn

Clinical Supervisor

Experienced and knowledgeable in the area of substance abuse, Todd is qualified to provide treatment as a clinical substance abuse counselor (CSAC) and licensed professional counselor (LPC) at Ministry Behavioral Health. With a master's degree in guidance and counseling from UW-Whitewater, he's highly experienced in providing AODA assessments and outpatient therapy to individuals and groups. His areas of specialty are:

Joseph Gerwood
PhD, CSAC
Psychologist

With a doctoral degree in counseling psychology, Dr. Gerwood provides psychological evaluations, consultations and testing with individuals from 6 years of age through adulthood. In addition, Dr. Gerwood is a registered nurse and certified alcohol and drug counselor. He specializes in:

Randy Flisakowski
CSAC

As an AODA counselor at Ministry Behavioral Health, Randy is well trained to provide chemical dependency treatment services. Randy has over 15 years experience in the field. As a CSAC, Randy provides individual and group therapy, offering sixteen hours per week of group treatment for patients in the Day Treatment and primary residential treatment service.

Ronald Matthew
PhD
Psychologist

As a licensed psychologist in practice since 1976, Dr. Matthew has provided assessments, therapy and consultations for thousands of individuals and families in the Midwest. He works with all age groups and his practice includes a wide span of mental health and substance abuse problems. Dr. Matthew has received extensive advanced training in the assessment and treatment of sexual abuse and domestic violence. His services through Ministry Behavioral Health include:

Laura Adams-Burkley
MSW, LCSW, SAC

 

As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), Laura provides individual and group therapy. She works with adults, including the elderly, as well as children. Among her specialty areas are:

Residential Treatment Center

 

 

William J. Sullivan, MD
Medical Director for Ministry Behavioral Health

As a board certified addictionologist and psychiatrist with an expertise and interest in ECT, Dr. Sullivan's main role will be to provide care for inpatients with mental health and substance abuse problems at Ministry Saint Michael's Hospital's Mental Health Unit (located on the fourth floor).

Dr. Sullivan will also provide professional services to the Portage County Mental Health Unit on a limited basis.

 

Mike Slavin
Clinical Supervisor
B.S., CSAC

Trained as an AODA counselor through the Fox Valley AODA counselor-training program, Mike specializes in treating chemically dependent adults. He also trained at the Winnebago AODA and Mental Health Center where he served an internship in direct counseling of AODA patients. Mike primarily works with patients dealing with long-term recovery issues.
