Breastfeeding support

Our certified breastfeeding nurse, called a lactation specialist, can help you with all your breastfeeding needs. She is available to you in the hospital and after you go home. If you need help once you go home, call our lactation consultant at 715.356.8142 and leave a message.

WIC (Women, Infants & Children) Program

WIC provides nutrition counseling, breastfeeding education and food vouchers for pregnant and post partum women, infants and children to the age of 5. Safe place for newborns

You can leave your unharmed baby, up to 3 days old, with a hospital employee at any hospital in Wisconsin. No questions are asked – not even your name. Police will not be called. The baby will be given medical care and then placed in foster care for adoption. Call 877.440.BABY or go to safeplacefornewborns.org.
