“Happiest Baby on the Block”
Being a new parent can be challenging. Sleepless nights, crying baby, postpartum depression – all contribute to the stress in the home. This class is recommended for parents whose babies are less than 2 months old. Grandparents are also welcome. Program fee includes a Parent Kit with DVD, Soothing Sounds CD, and swaddling blanket. If you already have children and worry about their adjustment to their new baby brother or sister, the Family Birth Center offers sibling classes for children between 2 and 10 years of age. Through music, stories and fun surprises, we prepare children for their new role. You and your child should attend sibling classes during the last trimester of your pregnancy, so the information they learn will be fresh in their minds. Registration is required.

Infant Massage and Nurturing Touch
Infant massage enhances the loving communication between parent and baby. It empowers parents to become an expert on their child. Parents will learn to watch and interpret their baby’s response to massage. Infants will learn trust, love, security, and contentment. Your baby will be ready for this program when the cord is healed and he or she is more alert (about 3 – 5 weeks of age). At this time your baby will be ready for a deeper touch and greater variety of strokes. The first form of communication that you have with your baby is through the natural process of touch. Come and experience the benefits of infant massage, while learning to safely massage your infant with confidence. The program will meet weekly for three sessions, and class size is limited. Registration is required. Call 715.393.3046 for current offerings. Fee $30.
