Nuclear Medicine in Marshfield

The Nuclear Medicine Department at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital annually performs approximately 7500 scans. Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with emergency procedures covered on an on call basis 24 hours a day.

The department offers state-of-the-art technology and certified personnel to assist you:

• Three Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Physicians
• An office staff which includes two Nuclear Medicine Assistants and two Medical Transcriptionists.
• Ten Nuclear Medicine Technologists that are certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
• Four dual-head nuclear medicine cameras, two dual-head SPECT/CT cameras, and one PET/CT camera
• The department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR)
• Staff specializing in diagnostic imaging and therapeutic services.

Along with the professional imaging aspect of the department we also have the opportunity to teach future Nuclear Medicine Technologists through our Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
