Adam Wirtz, DPT has been a physical therapist at Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital and a member of the Ministry Point Sports medicine Center team since June 2011. Adam received his B.S. in Biology form Concordia University Wisconsin in 2008 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in May 2011.
He has had varied clinical experiences, including an internship with the Milwaukee Brewers during the summer of 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. He is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and is also the lead author of a recently published research article entitled “Patellofemoral joint stress during running in females with and without patellofemoral pain”.
His clinical interests include the shoulder, knee, and ankle joints along with custom-made foot orthotics. Adam is excited to be a member of the sports medicine team He enjoys cheering for the Packers and Brewers, and enjoys hunting, fishing and playing sports.
