Volunteer Program

In addition to the full-time Spiritual Services staff, there are over 40 volunteers who assist the department with important ministries such as Eucharistic ministers to patient rooms, lectors, musicians, hospitality and Eucharistic ministers in the chapel and volunteers who visit newly admitted patients to verify their religious denomination and provide the patient information about Spiritual Services.

Spiritual Services Volunteers are a very special part of the Volunteer Program of Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital. Our volunteers make it possible to fulfill many special needs of our patients. There is nothing more rewarding than helping others through volunteering. The personal warmth and generosity of our Spiritual Services volunteers, expressed in their willingness to provide this ministry, is deeply appreciated by patients and by the Spiritual Services Department.
