Grief Support Group Open to All
Ministry provides grief support to everyone in the community, regardless of their involvement with hospice prior to the death of their loved one.
Ministry’s grief support groups are adult gathering for individuals and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. These gatherings provide a caring community for learning about grief, finding support, sharing memories, and identifying feelings. These meetings will be held Noon - 1:30 p.m. at the Ministry Home Care office, 303 W. Upham Street in Marshfield.
January 13, February 10, March 9, June 8, July 13, August 10, November 9 and December 14
There is no fee to attend, no pre-registration is required, and everyone is welcome.
L.O.S.S. of Spouse Support Group
This 6 week series is offered in the spring and fall at the Ministry Home Care office, 303 W. Upham Street, Suite 200 in Marshfield. Information and support is provided to help participants cope with the multitude of feelings, adjustments and day-to-day concerns experienced after the death of a spouse, partner or companion.
Spring 2016: Tuesdays, April 5 - May 10, 5-7 p.m.
Fall 2016: TBD
Handling the Holidays
The holidays can be especially difficult after a loved one has died. Ministry Home Care – Hospice is offering a unique support opportunity to help during the holiday season.
These meetings are open to any adult who is grieving the loss of a loved one, no matter how long it has been since the death. The groups are free of charge, but pre-registration is appreciated, to assure adequate resources are available for all attendees.
