HELP-Teen Support for Ages 13-19
HELP is a peer teen support group offered to ages 13-19 who are hurting, experiencing an emotional uproar, grieving a loss, or suffering from a painful event. These confidential gatherings provide a safe, comfortable environment for learning about grief, finding support, sharing memories, and identifying feelings. By talking together, members support one another, providing opportunities for healing and understanding. Please note ages 17 and younger must have a signed permission slip to attend.
Facilitated by Ministry, the next teen support group will meet the following four Thursdays; January 2, January 23, February 6 and February 20, 3-4pm at Nekoosa High School, 500 Cedar Street (conference room 201) in Nekoosa. There are no fees, and pre-registration is not required. Interested individuals are encouraged to join the group at any time.
