For their optimal comfort, people receiving hospice care and their families are supported in their own homes whenever possible. For those times when it is not possible for end-of-life care to be provided at home, Ministry Home Care has alternative homes specifically designed to meet the residential needs of individuals receiving hospice care.
The House of the Dove is a beautiful facility constructed to provide care for all levels of hospice patients - Residential, Acute and Respite. With 12 patient suites, the home is able to meet the broader needs of people in the Marshfield region.
Seasons of Life is located in a lovely wooded setting in Woodruff, Wisconsin. This home has eight cozy but spacious, private rooms with lovely decor. Each room features a tranquil view of the glorious Northwoods, with bird feeders attracting area songbirds.
Hospice care provided by the interdisciplinary team is billed to the payor source, i.e. insurance or Medicare. The cost of room and board for the hospice home is the responsibility of the patient and/or family. Hospice does not deny hospice services to anyone based on the inability to pay. The hospice program relies on the generosity of individuals and groups within the communities we serve for donated funds to support the hospice mission.
