Providing Care to Everyone, Regardless of Ability to Pay
As part of our mission, Dr. Kate Hospice provides hospice care to everyone who is medically eligible, regardless of their ability to pay. While some hospice funding is provided by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance companies, some people are under-insured or uninsured, with no ability to pay at all; Dr. Kate Hospice will not turn these people away. All of our patients receive the same care, regardless of their payor source.
We rely on the generosity of individuals, organizations and businesses to support this important mission. Each gift of $134.00 will provide a day of care for a patient who is uninsured, or supplement the care not completely covered by insurance sources. There is no funding through Medicare, Medicaid, or most private insurance companies for room and board at a hospice home - each gift of $150.00 will allow a patient to stay for a day at Seasons of Life.
Your gift of cash, stock, life insurance, or other planned gift can make a huge difference in the lives of those in the Northwoods. All funds designated for this agency are used for the care of patients and families served by this agency. All donations are fully tax-deductible, in accordance with the law. Ministry Home Care is a 501(c)(3) organization.
