Hospice provides holistic care to individuals of all ages at the end-of-life, helping them to make the most of every moment remaining in their lives. Hospice has been a powerful gift for thousands of families in this community, helping them to prepare for changes as they occur in their lives, and to cope with their grief after the death occurs.
Ministry Home Care-Hospice serves people throughout the region, wherever they live—whether in their own private homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or at the hospice home in Marshfield. Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance companies. Anyone, of any age, with any terminal diagnosis can receive hospice services. As part of their commitment to the community, Ministry Home Care does not deny care to anyone who is medically eligible, based on an inability to pay.
