Grief Support for Surviving Spouses/Partners Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services offers a unique support group for adults whose spouse or partner has died. This monthly gathering provides a safe environment for sharing memories, feelings, and concerns with others who have had similar experiences. Participants gain insight and understanding about grief from the facilitators and other members. Facilitated by members of the bereavement support team of Ministry Home Care, the group meets on the third Monday of each month, 6-7:30pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Stevens Point (behind Fleet Farm). The next meeting is Monday, June 17.
There is no fee to attend, and no pre-registration is required. Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services provides grief support to everyone in the community, regardless of their involvement with hospice prior to the death of their loved one.
