HELP-Teen Support in Wisconsin Rapids

HELP is a new peer teen support group offered to ages 13-19 who are hurting, experiencing an emotional uproar, grieving a loss, or suffering from a painful event. These confidential gatherings provide a safe, comfortable environment for learning about grief, finding support, sharing memories, and identifying feelings. By talking together, members support one another, providing opportunities for healing and understanding. Please note ages 17 and younger must have a signed permission slip to attend.

Facilitated by Ministry, the summer teen support group will meet the third Thursdays of June, July, and August, Noon-1p.m. in the Brehm Conference Room at the Lowell Center, 220 3rd Ave. S, in Wisconsin Rapids. There are no fees, and pre-registration is not required. Interested individuals are encouraged to join the group at any time. The first meeting will be held June 20.

Anyone with questions about getting permission or other questions is encouraged to call Sandi Kahler at 715.346.0783 or toll free 1.800.397.4216.
