Death ends a life, but not a relationship. Participants in the Loss of Spouse Support Group (L.O.S.S.) realize that while life has changed dramatically, the survivor can still live a life with contentment.
This year, this popular series will be offered in both Stevens Point and Wausau on Tuesdays, April 2-May 7. This series will offer information and support for individuals to cope with the multitude of feelings, adjustments, and day-to-day concerns experienced after the death of a spouse. There is no cost to participate, but re-registration is required.
The Stevens Point group, co-sponsored by Ministry Home Care and the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Portage County, will meet from 10am-noon at the Lincoln Center (1519 Water Street). To pre-register, please call the ADRC at 715-346-1401.
