Stevens Point Memory Tree

Drive past the Ministry Home Care building located at 2501 Main Street, and you will see the quietness of a single tree trimmed with blue and white lights.

This tree was adorned with care by Ministry Home Care associates with the hope that those who view it will be reminded to take time each day to love those with whom we share our lives - whether they are in our presence or have died and gone before us.

“It’s a busy street and a busy time of year. We wanted to create something that would give pause to those who see it,” shared Gretchen Iverson, Bereavement Coordinator Ministry Home Care. “It’s a Memory Tree that commemorates loved ones, recognizes those who are grieving and reminds us that there is support available.”

Ministry Home Care Hospice Care team provides support to patients and their families receiving end-of-life care.

The Memory Tree will remain through the Holiday Season.
