Support for Grieving Young Adults in Appleton

A support group is offered to young adults aged 18-30 who are coping with grief over the death of a loved one. Held at Harmony Café, the confidential gatherings provide a safe place to talk about the memories, feelings and concerns associated with the empty space left by the person who has died. By talking together, members support one another, providing opportunities for healing and understanding the new normal they are now living in.

Facilitated by Affinity Visiting Nurses-Hospice, the Young Adult Support Group meets the third Wednesday of every month, 5:45-7pm at Harmony Café, 233 East College Avenue in Appleton. There are no fees, and pre-registration is not required. Interested individuals are encouraged to join the group at any time.

As part of their mission, Affinity Visiting Nurses provides grief support to all individuals, not only those who received the care of their hospice team prior to the death.

Anyone with questions is encouraged to call Melissa Klebs at 920.727.2000 or toll free 1.866.236.8500.
