Walking Garden Tour in Rhinelander
The First Annual Walking Garden Tour to benefit Ministry Hospice, organized by the Master Gardner’s of the North, will be held in Rhinelander on Saturday, July 26, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tickets are just $10 each, and can be purchased at the Ministry Home Care office located at 1864 N. Stevens Street, Forth Floral, Customer’s Choice Landscaping, or Hanson’s Garden Village. Tickets will be available the day of the event at the Old School Arts and Learning Center (Curran Building), located at 315 S. Baird Avenue. All proceeds benefit patients and families cared for by the Ministry Home Care hospice team.
This is one of the only walking garden tours in the area. Enjoy the secret gardens that surround the neighborhood of the historic Oneida County Courthouse. This is an easy 1.5-mile stroll through a neighborhood featuring many Victorian homes. Of course, if you prefer to drive, that is okay too.
Participants are encouraged to start the tour at the Old School Arts and Learning Center where parking, tickets for the tour, and raffle tickets are available.
The raffle will be held for a beautiful, queen-sized rose and green floral quilt, hand-crafted by the Quilters for Hospice. Tickets are $1 each, or six for $5, and are available at Ministry Home Care, and the Old School Arts and Learning Center.
