Free Blood Pressure Checks!
High blood pressure is known as the silent killer. Fifty percent of the deaths in the United States are caused by cardiovascular disease, namely heart attacks and strokes. Detecting high blood pressure is the first step to prevention of those life-threatening illnesses.
On the first and second Monday of every month from 3-5pm, we hold free Blood Pressure Checks at the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry (436 N. Brown Street).
On the first Tuesday of every month from 10-11am, Ministry Home Care holds a free Blood Pressure Check at Rhine Haus residence (1207 Mason Street, Rhinelander).
No appointment is necessary, and there is no cost. Please stop by! For more information, call Ministry Home Care at 800-397-0270.
