Ministry Health Care is pleased welcome Brian Schultz, D.O. to the general surgery department at Ministry Medical Group (MMG) located at 2251 North Shore Drive in Rhinelander. He joins surgeons, Joe Bodensteiner, M.D., Bruce Jacobson, M.D., Richard Pantalone, M.D. and Lisa Rasmussen, M.D. Dr. Schultz specializes in general surgery, including oncology, laparoscopic, thoracic and vascular care. He is available to see patients Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is accepting new patients. Ministry Medical Group is an outpatient department of Sacred Heart Saint Mary’s Hospital.
Most recently Dr. Schultz was employed as the Officer in Charge of the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in Missouri. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine June 2000 and completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Stratford, New Jersey June 2005. Dr. Schultz is a Major in the United States Army Medical Corps. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
“I believe the patient should have access to their physician at any stage of their treatment, to ask questions or to be reassured that they are doing well,” said Dr. Schultz.
