Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome Steven Fontanini, D.O., to Ministry Medical Group in Weston. Fontanini will be seeing patients at the Weston Clinic on the campus of the Weston Regional Medical Center at 3301 Cranberry Boulevard.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Fontanini spent the previous 27 years practicing at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield.
Dr. Fontanini earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from Des Moines University - College of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences, Des Moines, Iowa. After completing his osteopathic internship at Richmond Heights General Hospital, Richmond Heights, Ohio, Dr. Fontanini completed his family medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Wisconsin Medical Society.
“I believe that in my 27 years of practice I have developed a strong compassion for people,” said Dr. Fontanini. “Being a physician offers me the greatest opportunity to express that compassion.”
An avid sports fan, Dr. Fontanini also enjoys spending time with his wife and family which includes six children and eight grandchildren that are spread throughout the country.
