Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome family medicine specialist Janet Gilbert, M.D., to Ministry Medical Group.

Board certified in family medicine and with more than 20-years of practice experience, Gilbert will provide patient care at Ministry Medical Groups Weston Clinic on the campus of the Weston Regional Medical Center at 3301 Cranberry Boulevard.

After earning her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, Dr. Gilbert completed her medical degree at the University Of Arkansas College Of Medicine in Little Rock where she also completed her family practice residency.

“There is always something unique in each patient,” said Dr. Gilbert. “People need to take an active role in their care and treatment and that is made possible by the willingness to take the time to listen and understand their health.”

Dr. Gilbert is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Practice, Wisconsin Medical Society and is a past member of the Wisconsin Medical Journal Editorial board.

She is an active gardener, photographer and reader. Dr. Gilbert and her husband have three children.
