(Rhinelander, WI) Ministry Health Care is pleased welcome Lisa Rasmussen, MD to the surgery department at Ministry Medical Group (MMG) clinic located at 2251 North Shore Drive in Rhinelander. She joins surgeons, Joe Bodensteiner, MD, Bruce Jacobson, MD, and Richard Pantalone, MD. Dr. Rasmussen specializes in general surgery, including oncology, breast and vascular care. She is available to see patients Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is accepting new patients.
Dr. Rasmussen (Krupka) began providing general surgery locums services with Ministry Medical Group in April, 2008. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from RUHS/The Chicago Medical School in June 2002, followed by a General Surgery Residency at Carilion Health System in Roanoke, Virginia from July 2002-June 2007. Most recently Dr. Rasmussen spent six months doing Vascular Surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
“I believe in providing compassionate surgical care consistent with the most up to date medical guidelines,” said Dr. Rasmussen. “Surgery is a wonderful opportunity to provide both acute and chronic care. I enjoy determining an appropriate diagnosis and providing technically skilled surgery.”
In her spare time, Dr. Rasmussen enjoys spending time traveling, running, skiing and participating in various water sports.
