Ministry Health Care Patients and Staff Collect Donations for Troops

Throughout the month of October and November Ministry Health Care staff has been collecting items for the Soldiers overseas for Christmas. Many donations have been received from patients and employees at Ministry Medical Group clinics in the Northern Region. Donations have also been received by Miller Coors Company out of Madison, Three Lakes School District, and Legion 431. The Eagle River Riders Legion Club also made a cash donation. Approximately 30 boxes full of items for the soldiers have been donated to date. All items collected have been given to “Troy’s Place”. Troy’s Place is named in honor of Major Troy Gilbert who gave his life to protect fellow Airmen and the freedom of all Americans. Troy’s Place sends packages to Forward Operating Bases, which are bases where men and women fighting for our country have minimal supplies. All contributions are greatly appreciated and make a difference in the lives of many service members far from home sacrificing to protect the freedoms we celebrate.
