(WOODRUFF, WI) – Would you like to learn how “you” are the best medicine? Find out more at “Circle of Health, Reflections on Wellness and Balance in our lives,” a free educational program provided by Ministry Medical Group in Woodruff. There are two opportunities to attend the one-hour seminar on Wednesday, April 9, at 12 p.m. or at 5 p.m.
Those attending the program will discover how health equals balance, become proactive in healthcare, learn the benefits of physical activity, discuss the importance of good nutrition, and learn the significance of rest and sleep.
The program’s key presenter is Ronald Cortte, MD, from Ministry Medical Group.
Ministry Medical Group in Woodruff is also hosting a free community education event on Stress Management on Friday, April 11, from 9 - 11:30 a.m.
Speakers include Kathleen Mitchell, MA, on mindfulness, and Jim Holma, OTA, on stress management. This discussion would benefit anyone who wants to improve coping, flexibility, and peace with the physical and mental challenges of life.
The education events are held at Howard Young Medical Center, located at 240 Maple Street in Woodruff, in classrooms 2 and 3. The events are free and open to the public, and refreshments will be available. Be sure to take the opportunity to meet the Ministry Medical Group providers during the events.
