Tracy Springer, MS, LPC-IT, CSAC, joins Ministry Medical Group
(Stevens Point, Wis.) — Ministry Health Care, part of Ascension, is pleased to welcome Tracy Springer, MS, LPC-IT, CSAC, to Ministry Medical Group’s behavioral health department. Springer sees patients at 209 Prentice Street in Stevens Point.
A board-certified licensed professional mental health and clinical substance abuse counselor, Springer provides therapy to people of all ages, genders and cultures. She has a special interest in treating mental health and substance use disorders simultaneously with compassionate and respectful care. Springer’s goal is to support her patients as they work toward optimal wellness through exploration of the intellectual, emotional, social, physical, occupational, vocational and spiritual aspects of their lives.
Springer received her Bachelor of Science degree in addiction studies and her Master of Science degree in mental health counseling from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
“I believe building rapport is essential to healing,” said Springer. “I strive to enter my patient’s world through empathy and understanding.”
When she’s not in the office, Springer enjoys outdoor activities, attending spiritual retreats and spending time with family and friends.
