May 13, 2013Carol Meyer, a nurse at Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital (MOLVH) is one of 27 finalists in the 2013 Nurses’ Choice Awards, sponsored by Tangent Medical, a provider of IV medical equipment based in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Nurses' Choice Awards were created to honor nurses during National Nurses Week and to recognize those clinicians who demonstrate excellence in improving patient comfort, satisfaction, safety and the overall quality of patient care. Every nurse considered for this award was nominated by a nursing professional in hospitals and practices across the U.S and Canada.
May 07, 2013Ministry Our Lady of Victory is pleased to announce that Carol Sue Carlson, MD, has joined the medical staff. Dr. Carlson is a member of the Chippewa Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine group based in Chippewa Falls. Dr. Carlson will see patients in Stanley on Wednesdays starting May 22.
April 22, 2013Every April, the nation celebrates the contribution of volunteers during National Volunteer Month. It is an opportunity to recognize the impact and power of volunteerism and service as an integral aspect of civic leadership. Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital honored their volunteers at their annual appreciation dinner April 18. More than 35 attended the event at Alberta May's at the Home Place in Stanley. Volunteers from the Board of Directors, the OLV Partners, the OLVH Prayer Team and the Community Link transportation and shopping group were honored at the event.
April 16, 2013Ministry Our Lady of Victory is pleased to announce that Aron Adkins, MD, has joined the medical staff. Dr. Adkins is a member of the Eau Claire Medical Clinic. Dr. Adkins will see patients in Stanley on Tuesday and Friday starting on April 30.
