Our Lady of Victory Hospital and Victory Medical Group in Stanley Welcome Betsy Wacker PA-C

Physician Assistant Betsy Wacker, PA-C has joined Victory Medical Group's Stanley Clinic and the medical staff of Our Lady of Victory Hospital. Her first day will be February 11, 2009. She is a highly skilled professional who can help take care of you and your family by:

• Conducting patient history and assessments
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
• Performing physical examinations for all ages including well child exams (Health checks)
• Writing prescriptions

Betsy has a special interest in caring for children and adolescent patients. She has an extensive background working with foster care and adoptive families.

Betsy has cared for patients as a physician assistant in primary care for 15 years. She has worked with Luther Midelfort clinic as well as Marshfield clinic. In 1996, she was the medical director for the Lalamba Association in Sudan, Africa where she cared for patients and facilitated medical training for eight African doctors.

Betsy received her bachelor of science degree in psychology at UW-La Crosse and her associate of applied science/physicians assistant from Cook County Hospital Physician Assistant Program in Chicago. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. She also earned her masters in herbalism.
She lives with her husband Michael and daughter Angellica in Chippewa Falls. Betsy enjoys spending time with her family and pets, hiking, and gardening.
