Partners Organization Donates Coffee Cart to MOLVH
Patients and visitors to Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital will now be able to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee when they are in the building, thanks to a new coffee cart. The Partners with Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital (formerly known as the Auxiliary) designed and purchased the cart, which is located in the hospital Atrium inside the front entrance. The Partners group will cover the costs of the coffee and other supplies and MOLVH dietary staff will take care of it on a daily basis.
Marian Walsdorf, co-president of the Partners of OLV, said, “Each year our Partners group discusses how we can positively impact patient care with our fundraising efforts. In the past we have provided dollars for special equipment or furnishings, special wellness programs, or staff educational needs. Sponsorship of a patient and visitor coffee program is something that is done at other Wisconsin hospitals and we felt if would work well here. We know that sometimes when people are at the hospital, clinic, or pharmacy a nice cup of coffee can make it a more positive experience.”
Cynthia Eichman, president of MOLVH, said, “We are so thankful for the Partners sponsorship and funding of this generous coffee program. The Partners were very involved in making sure the cart would fit in with the current interior colors and woods. In addition to sponsoring the coffee in the Atrium the group is also covering the costs of coffee offered in our surgery waiting room area.”
