Stanley offers the best of both worlds: a small town atmosphere, convenient location to larger cities. Located off Highway 29, the major highway between Green Bay and Minneapolis/St. Paul, this 2000+ community offers a rural lifestyle that's comfortable to both residents and visitors alike.
Within the city limits one can find the world's best Colby and Monterey Jack cheeses, fishing lakes, wild game parks, beach and campground along with the Stanley Area Historical Society Museum and historic D.R. Moon Library. During the winter, ice fishing and miles of snowmobile and cross-country ski trails offer plenty of outdoor opportunities.
